1-      Accuracy of collected data
The thermal cycler accommodates 48-well plates which allow for users to reduce qPCR reagent volumes whilst maintaining a strong fluorescent signal. This enhances thermal uniformity across the block (±0.1°C) which is crucial for high accuracy. The Max Eco 48 boasts the ability to discriminate class IV SNPs over 99% of the time.

 2-      Outstanding efficiency
The length of cycles can be reduced after optimisation of temperatures and hold times to the point where 40 cycles can run in 15 minutes. This enables multiple experiments to be conducted each day, meeting high throughout requirements.

 3-      Multiplex analysis
The system allows for four dyes to be used in analysis at once and is calibrated for the following dyes: SYBR®, FAMTM, HEXTM, VICTM, ROXTM, Cy®5.
