Automatic Centrifuge Eppendorf 5810 RA (OEM product)
The refrigerated 5810 RA automatic centrifuge differs from our standard model in that it has a generously-dimensioned loading opening in the lid of the centrifuge, optimized rotor positioning and communication via an RS 232 interface. These differences allow an enormous variety of rotors to be loaded and unloaded automatically by a lab robot. One of the benefits of our aluminium rotors is particularly obvious with automation: quicker acceleration and braking times than with comparable steel rotors reduce the centrifugation cycle and thus maximize sample throughput. A large variety of applications is furthermore possible because so many different tubes and plates can be used.
Rotor positioning has been optimized to allow smooth interaction between the lab robot and the automatic centrifuge. Occasional deviations in the position of robots in relation to rotor position are compensated by the rotor using special "smart rotor positioning" The immersion depth of the gripper hand into the centrifuge is extremely small. The gripper arm of the robot can therefore generally be realized in a very compact form without a complicated telescopic design
OEM components/products are sold exclusively to companies who sell these goods on to third parties in conjunction with their own products or as a component of their kits.

This centrifuge is ideal for clinical, research and industrial applications, whenever cooling of sensitive samples is required. The maintenance-free motor allows centrifugation at a maximum rotational speed of 13,200 rpm (16,110 x g). By means of the adjustable temperature, samples can be kept at 4 °C, even at maximum centrifugation speed. Further features are the self-explaining dials, the foil keys and the digital display.
A simple press on the speed dial switches the display from rpm to rcf values so that there is no need for time-consuming conversions between rpm and rcf values. The new unique motorized safety lid latch closes the centrifuge automatically. This guarantees, together with short acceleration and braking times, rapid and safe working practices. |

RS Biotech / Wolf Mini Galaxy CO2 Incubator
Personal incubators for separation of sensitive samples to reduce cross contamination risks
The new MiniGalaxy Personal CO2 Incubator continues the fine manufacturing tradition established in the RS Biotech Galaxy series.
Two models are available. The sophisticated Mini A supports a wide range of options and carries the full Galaxy 'R' controls package. This is backed up by the simpler and highly cost-effective Mini E.
Small footprint with 50 litre capacity
Occupying only 48 x 47cm of bench space, the small footprint allows these incubators to be truly laboratory efficient and financially friendly.
The unique single door system
Unlike most CO2 incubators which have two doors,
MiniGalaxy has one heated, double glazed door with an
integral viewing window which allows observation without
disturbance to cultures. Thus, temperature, CO2 and humidity levels can be maintained without risk of fluctuations, but entry can be achieved more easily by a single door opening.
Seamless internal chamber
Both models boast a generous, space-efficient 50 litre capacity. The inner chamber is produced from deep drawn stainless steel. It has no welded seams and is therefore extremely simple to clean effectively. Each model features RS Biotech’s new shelf/racking system which can be completely removed, to leave only smooth surfaces.
Personal Incubators - the real advantage
How often is cell and tissue culture space shared with three or more scientists using the same incubator? Different standards bring risks of contamination, and accessing work at the back of an incubator means work at the front can be compromised.
The neat MiniGalaxy range changes all that: efficient use of personal space means total control and security.
Diagnostics and on-screen help
The MiniGalaxy A's advanced controls allow this intelligent system to look at the control parameters and feeds information back to a diagnostic screen which eliminates user queries and costly time wasting. The on-screen help service means that full user manual information is always at your fingertips.
Data logging System
The Data logging System, featured only on MiniGalaxy A, records readings of temperature and CO2 every 15 seconds and presents this information to the user in simple graphical format. Up to 72 hours of temperature and CO2 data can be held as well as a record of all door openings, power functions, alarm events, CO2 auto zeros and other important information.
Galaxy "B" CO2 Incubator
The Galaxy range is sold world wide and is probably the best selling range of CO2 incubators in the UK. They are manufactured in Scotland and their quality combined with the manufacturer's excellent service back up together with Wolf's after sales service has made them our best selling product.
Reference sites can be obtained from virtually anywhere in the UK.
Space Efficient Design
Made from 304 bright annealed stainless steel for easy cleaning and reduced contamination risk. Outer door and self-stacking top are precision mouldings. The 150 litre internal chamber volume is contained within a 78x58x63cm outer shell, which allows safe and practical use on and under a laboratory bench.
Advanced Heating System
The on board microprocessor ensures a stable temperature control with minimal gradient and prompt temperature recovery with no overshoot.
Accurate C02 Control
A solid state infra red CO2 sensor with keypad controlled auto zeroing ensures maximum stability, regardless of humidity variations. CO2 is pulsed into the chamber to achieve the precise concentration required against pre-set limits.
Interactive Control System
Mounted on the chamber door, this keypad controls the incubator and incorporates an audio-visual alarm system. The user-friendly display enables settings to be programmed reliably and quickly.
High Humidity Dry Wall Chamber
A humidity level of 95% is achievable to minimise sample evaporation. The independent outer door heat system ensures that there is no condensation on the inner door.
Heat Profiling System
The unique heating system eliminates the need for a fan because it heats all six sides of the chamber at once. This allows the thermodynamic convection to move the air in the chamber, which greatly reduces evaporation and the chance of vibration. Most important of all it significantly decreases the possibility of contamination compared to other incubators.

Space Efficient Design
Galaxy R offers the largest internal space for its size of any CO2 incubator. The 170 litre internal chamber volume is contained within a 75x60x65cm unit, which can be easily placed on or under a laboratory bench. It is made from 304 bright annealed stainless steel for easy cleaning and reduced contamination risk. The outer door is a precision plastic moulding.
Advanced Heating System
The unique direct heat system, combined with a sophisticated microprocessor, ensures a stable temperature control with minimal gradient and prompt temperature recovery with no overshoot.
Fully Programmable C02 Auto Zero
Automatically referencing the infra red CO2 sensor to atmosphere means that there is no need for user intervention or alteration to chamber conditions. This ensures that the system works with stability and maximizes accuracy.
Intelligent Control System
The Intelligent Control system is so flexible and comprehensive that it can be tailored to suit individual user preferences. The door mounted display unit incorporates an advanced two level alarm system, on-screen help file and a graphical data logging system. Up to 72 hours of data for temperature, CO2, alarm, auto zero and power functions can be reviewed on screen or downloaded to computer.
