Model C25 Incubated Floor Model Shakers
The large-capacity Classic Incubator shaker is available in two models- the standard King size Model C25 that can accommodate flasks from 50 mL to 6 liters, and the Model C25KC that is equipped with CFC-free refrigeration for above-and below-ambient applications. These floor model incubator shakers are widely used for the growth of biological cultures under varied conditions of temperature, and are built for a lifetime of continuous performance. A precision ball bearing drive mechanism is ruggedly built and accurately asembled to impart smooth rotary motion to every flask on the shaker platform.
Reproducible agitation is attained with a continuous-duty drive mechanism powered by a brushless industrial ball-bearing motor that rotates the shaker platform precisely in a one-inch (2.54 cm) circular orbit. To further minimize friction and stress, the console rests on a total of ten adjustable feet that absorb residual vibration, help stabilize the workload and prevent creeping. Shaker speed and temperature are precisely regulated by a microprocessor controller that maintains setpoints within very rigid tolerances. Touch the keypad to select and display temperatures from a few degrees above ambient to 60º (Model C25), and 17º below ambient (minimum +4º) to 60º, (Model C25KC). Carefully counterbalanced, the shaker drive imparts smooth orbital shaking action during prolonged investigations, ensuring reproducible growth conditions.
Rigid Temperature Control
Aided by a high velocity air circulation system, temperature is accurately maintained within ± 0.25º. Quick response and rigid temperature regulation is achieved through a microprocessor controller coupled with pulse-width modulation of the he ater. Air is dispersed uniformly throughout the chamber, providing rigid temperature control. This design ensures that all samples are exposed to the desired temperature regardless of sample location.

If you prefer a chest-style ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezer, New Brunswick Scientific’s Innova C585 is an ideal choice. This -86°C laboratory freezer maximizes storage capacity and minimizes footprint through use of highly-efficient Vacuum Insulation Panel technology. The Innova C760 is capable of holding up to 57200 samples. Vacuum Insulation Panel technology slims down the interior chamber walls to maximize capacity and minimize external dimensions.
Like New Brunswick's Innova® ULT lab freezers, Premium feezers provide quality design, advanced features, and the ability to safely preserve samples over the long term. The main difference is that Premium Freezers utilize traditional urethane insulation, 130mm / 5.1" thick, to achieve and maintain ultra-low temperatures of -86°C.
Premium Freezers from New Brunswick Scientific (NBS) offer many of the same features as our Innova® models, but use conventional urethane foam insulation to provide an economical alternative on a standard footprint.

New Brunswick Benchtop Incubator Shaker Innova 4200 & 4230
Our most versatile benchtop shaker, Model 4230 can agitate, incubate, refrigerate and illuminate. When refrigeration is not needed, Model 4200 does the job. These multi-purpose instruments have the same size shaker platform as Models 4000/4080, but accept flasks to 6 Litres, and have two stationary shelves for added incubating or storing capability. With a front-opening door, they can be used on the bench, or floor-stacked two high for space savings.

Excella
temperature-controlled shakers are available with choice of incubation only or incubation with added refrigeration. Designed for larger-capacity needs, console-styled E25 and E25R models accept flasks up to 6 liters and accommodate as many as (12) 2 Liter flasks.

This environmentally-controlled chamber is designed to culture dozens, and even hundreds, of samples on up to four independently- controlled shakers. Heavy-duty shakers are ordered separately, to accommodate your specific needs. NBS is proud to offer their first hydrocarbon-based ULT freezers, in an effort to deter global warming and meet the environmental requirements of today’s laboratory. Their new hydrocarbon freezers not only have the same advanced features as their original Innova® U725 and Premium U570 models, but also offer a 5 - 10% decrease in power consumption. The result is a decrease in yearly operating costs, an eco-friendly energy-saving design, and the elimination of the use of detrimental HFC refrigerants that contribute to global warming.
Hydrofluorocarbons, currently used in the refrigerant industry, are potent greenhouse gases which can persist in the atmosphere for as long as 15 years. Hydrocarbon is quickly becoming a popular, ecologically neutral replacement gas, and has already been safely adopted in the commercial food and beverage refrigeration industry.
These new NBS "green" freezers have roughly the equivalent hydrocarbon content of a typical lighter. In addition, they have been designed to meet the latest EC regulations and ACRID guidelines for the use of hydrocarbon refrigerants. All NBS freezers are CE certified, meet WEEE Directives for disposal, and are 95 - 98% recyclable (by weight).
NBS is offering both a traditional air-cooled and new water-cooled system for those facilities able to utilize this technology for increased efficiency and energy savings.

This industrial workhorse is designed to uniformly shake hundreds of samples, day-in and day-out, under the extreme conditions of an environmental room. New engineering concepts in load balancing minimize stress and vibrations, even when fully loaded and running at the maximum speed of 350 rpm. Innova 5000 accepts hundreds of samples on up to six accessory platforms. As pictured, platforms are cantilevered from a central column to provide easy access to all glassware, and lock in place without tools.
