Leica EG1130
Cold Plate
Part No K00000022
Leica has two different stand-alone cold plates for use in clinical histopathology and biomedical research applications in its program. The EG1130 is a stand-alone cold plate with a high performance cooling system.
The Leica EG1130 is an ideal system for laboratories with need for stand-alone paraffin block cooling at various locations throughout the laboratory.
The second version Leica Microsystems can offer is the Leica EG1150C. This system has been designed as complementary product to the EG1150H paraffin dispenser. Multiple sets can easily be added to the EG1150H to increase the cooling area to meet every laboratory requirement.
Leica EG1120
Paraffin Dispenser with Integrated Hot Plate
230 V/50-60 Hz Part No 045424756
The Leica EG1120 Paraffin Dispenser features the typical modern and ergonomic design of the entire Leica Histology product line, which includes an easy-to-read and user-friendly control panel with LED display.
The Leica EG1120 is equipped with a 3.75 liter capacity paraffin tank and a heated paraffin dispenser tap/nozzle. A built-in solid paraffin separator, which prevents the dispenser nozzle from getting clogged by solid/semi-solid paraffin and a continuously adjustable paraffin flow rate ensure trouble-free paraffin dispensing in any kind of working situation.
Molds can conveniently be placed onto the low profile aluminium hot plate for dispensing. Paraffin and hot plate surface temperature are separately adjustable, both from ambient up to +70°C.
Temperature accuracy is guaranteed by an electronic temperature control system providing 1°C (tank) and 2°C (hot plate) control accuracy. Paraffin actual temperature is constantly displayed and by simply pressing a button the display switches over the hot plate temperature indication.
Leica EG F Embedding System
|
Electric Heatable, Forceps for Safer Transfer of Tissue Specimens Leica EG F
The Leica EG F electric, heatable forceps are designed for easier and safer transfer of tissue specimens during paraffin embedding.
The heated tips of the forceps prevent tissue from sticking to the tips and support convenient transfer of the specimen into embedding the mold.
Adjustable forceps temperature
Forceps temperature is adjustable to accommodate the different melting points of waxes, from 55°C to 70°C in 1K steps, helps to avoid sticky forceps tips.
More stress-free
Ergonomically designed, heat insulated forceps support more stress-free and comfortable embedding.
Forceps holder
The Leica EG F consists of the control unit, forceps and forceps holder to avoid contact of the cable with the hot working surface and wax.
