Designed and constructed for ease of use and importantly carrying a number of safety features for demanding continuous laboratory applications. Featuring a 25 litre stainless steel water bath with PID temperature control displaying actual and set water temperature, shaker trolley, drain tap, shaker speed control, mains and access door indicators, over temperature protection, user instructions including electrical test certificate and temperature calibrated at the factory.

Build

Designed primarily around reliable and intrinsically safe temperature and speed control systems built into the durable powder painted Clifton body. The bath uses a deep drawn pressing with rounded corners manufactured from stainless steel produces the ideal environment for day to day use and can be easily cleaned. Inside the bath connected to shaker drive a reciprocating stainless trolley, which accepts a wide variety of, perforated clip trays with combinations of accessories for holding flasks, micro-titre plates or test tube racks. These can all be easily inter-changed and removed for cleaning purposes. Uniquely this Shaker bath features a useful stainless steel recessed tray for standing flasks on prior to and after immersion.

1. The above heat up times are based on minimum recommended water level above the trolley.

2. Reaching 60°C quicker than 37°C is based on a lid being fitted.

3. Above 60°C and below ambient it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with an accessory SL1 series lid or layer of polypropylene spheres.

Notes :

3. Maximum immersion depth = 120mm.

4. When using an accessory DC1-300/NE5 or DC1-700/NE5 we recommend a GL1-22/DC lid also used to insulate the water bath. The lid has a cut out to accommodate the the cooling line.

Electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book. To verify the performance of the temperature control system it is checked by calibrating the water temperature and controller at 45°C to ensure it meets the quoted specification.
