Incubation shaker CERTOMAT® BS-1 is suited for the growth of bacteria, yeast, insect and plant cells in a temperature-controlled environment from 8 °C above ambient temperature up to 70 °C. With an optional integrated cooling unit, the temperature range can be extended to 10 °C below ambient temperature. Also available is an optional illumination unit for growth of photosynthetic organisms. CERTOMAT® BS-1 can be programmed to operate for specified periods at defined ranges of speed and temperature plus illumination. Five programs, each consisting of four steps and one pre-step, can be defined and stored. The menue language can be selected by the user. CERTOMAT® BS-1 units can be stacked three units high in order to save valuable lab space. Due to the patented adjustable mass compensation system, all three stacked units can be run at maximum speed even when fully loaded.

Obligatory Shaker Accessories
To make it functional, every CERTOMAT® shaker or incubation shaker requires a tray. Available tray sizes are 420 x 420 mm (E/EU) and 800 x 420 mm (F/FU). Suitable trays, clamps and further accessories are listed with each instrument.
