Introduction
Capp CappWash microplate washers from Wolflabs. CappWash plate washer is an ideal elisa plate washer for small scale work. Simple, compact and inexpensive, Capp plate washer is available in an 8-channel, a 12-channel and a 16-channel version, as well as in form of a 6-channel TubeWash - manual washer for 12x75mm test tubes.

Features and benefits
- Produced from high-grade stainless steel and polypropylene, the washer is fully autoclavable as well as highly resistant to aggressive chemicals.
- Unique Two-in-One Design: Each tube consists of an inner tube that releases the distilled water washing solution into the wells for rinsing while the outer tube vacuums away the liquid upon completion of the washing procedure.
- Washing is Simple: Simply lower the tubes into the well then push the knob to fill and release the knob to empty. Now repeat for the desired amount of washings and move on to the next row. It’s that simple!
- Matches all well types: The washer can be set to the desired depth very easily by simply adjusting the two screws found on either side of the tubes.

4 Microplate Washers Tips in Line with Sustainability

Wolflabs is committed to halve carbon emissions by 2030, and as many other companies look at ways they can be more sustainable, we have four tips on how to run your water purification system more sustainably.

1. Prevent your motors from failing prematurely by ensuring guide rails and bearings are properly lubricated

2. Prevent build up and blocking the head by discarding any remnants of previous buffer before filling with new – never ‘top up’. At the same time, make sure to empty the vacuum pump each time you fill up the buffer to prevent damage. By regularly rinsing with 10% alcohol you are also reducing the risk of unnecessary build up

3. Reduce restriction in the dispensed volumes by cleaning the inlet filters regularly

4. Keep away from direct sunlight and in a dust free environment
