Introduction
UVP CL-1000 crosslinkers from Wolflabs. UV Crosslinkers assure consistent UV output for many uses including DNA bonding and UV curing. UV crosslinking is used for attaching nucleic acids to a membrane for example which takes seconds as compared to oven baking. The crosslinkers utilize a microprocessor to control and measure the dose of UV radiation.

New CL 508 series of crosslinkers from Cleaver Scientific have been added. The CL 508 provides a compact unit occupying minimum bench space with a footprint of only 350 x 350 mm and a spacious interior chamber of 270 x 300 x 140 mm. As with all Cleaver's products, safety is a major consideration so the CL 508 door is safety interlocked against opening during operation and the observation window in the door is ultraviolet blocking.
